Last Night

We went to:

Man! I'm so in love:

Our cutie girl looks so much like her daddy:

Alex and his hero:

The only "family" picture we got (notice Alex is almost not in it):

When I'm pregnant I avoid the camera because I break out like a 12 year old and no one needs to see that. Sadly, I usually love being in pictures, I am not one of those people who is camera shy at all.

I wish it would...

rain again. The only draw back of living in Southern California is there is not many days like this:

But also no snow days, so I guess it balances out.

Half Way!

I'm 20 weeks pregnant today, half way there. I have some pictures to post of stuff but I'll save that for later. On a really random side note, Hailey has been obsessed with the toilet lately. We personally think she is too young to potty train, but because of her obsession we decided we could buy her one of those seats that goes inside the toilet to make it toddler size. I bought it yesterday and she seriously begged to use it ALL day. Like I said, we don't really care if she does but we knew she would be excited about it. Last night before she went to bed, she used it! Seriously! She didn't just sit on it, she actually went to the bathroom. I chose not to post pictures of that because I think it is creepy when parents post potty pictures of their kids. Alex and I were both in shock though. I guess she's closer to ready than we thought. I promise to get some pictures of what we've been up to soon.

19 month! plus some

Hailey hit 19 months on Friday. I can now use the excuse that everything takes me longer because I am pregnant, so that is why I am a few days late on blogging about it. I will also use it for my excuse in the lack of blogging. Anyway, here are some pictures of the random things we've been up to.

We went to Disneyland for papa's birthday and Hailey really wanted to ride the, "lumpalump." (elephant)

We went to the Seaside Highland games last weekend and since we've posted lots of Scotish games pictures before I thought one of a piper on the beach would be cool. It's the best we could get. You can see his pipes and he is wearing a kilt even though you can't see that.

My two loves.

Hailey giving daddy a kiss.

This is at the LA county fair. Hailey wasn't so sure about the dinosaurs.

We were the cutest flowers at the fair.

We also went to the zoo, but those pics are on my dad's camera. Hailey knows tons of words and her sentences have become more complex. The doctor was amazed by her vocabulary when she went in for her check up. She can also count to 10, sing most of the alphabet, and is starting to learn her shapes and colors. She knew most of her animals already but now she has started to learn some more obscure ones like Koalas. She sings lots of songs too and she request songs for me to sing to her. Her favorites are the monkey's swinging through the trees, "abc," and "I'm trying to be like Jesus." She has also started to say prayers and can start them on her own. She loves nursery, singing, dancing, reading, going on walks, and anything to do with water. She doesn't like to take her nap or eat her dinner. She is growing so much each day. She is so fun. She also has started to call herself sister and points to my belly when we ask where the baby is. I plan on putting up a bunch of videos this month but getting good ones are hard.
We also find out what the baby is on Monday! :D

Happy Birthday, Papa!

About a week ago I called one of my high school friends and sang happy birthday. Since then Hailey has been singing it like crazy. She is really good at it but she is so hard to catch on camera. This is the best I've gotten. In honor of Papa's 50th (YES 50th, my daddy is getting OLD!) birthday today, I thought I should post it. Happy Birthday, Papa!

(Also, note how distracted she suddenly gets by the phone that has been in her hands the whole time, babies are so funny!)
